We built A Little Birdie because we believe the people in your life deserve the same due diligence you'd give any other important decision. Information is power — and you shouldn't need a private investigator to access it.

Why we exist

Every day, people invite strangers into their lives — through dating apps, roommate searches, business deals, childcare. And every day, most of them go on trust alone.

We think that's backwards. Not because people are bad, but because the information to make better decisions already exists — scattered across court databases, public records, and digital footprints. It's just been too hard to find, too expensive to access, and too slow to be practical.

So we built something that changes that. An AI investigator that searches 40+ independent sources in minutes, not days. One that gives you a clear, readable report — not a wall of raw data.

Who we are

We're a small team of engineers and researchers who got tired of watching people learn things about someone the hard way — after the lease was signed, after the money was sent, after the damage was done.

We built A Little Birdie to be the tool we wished existed. Something fast, thorough, and honest about what it finds. Not a people-search site that buries everything behind paywalls and dark patterns — but a genuine investigation tool that treats you like an adult.

We launched in February 2026 and have been improving the product every day since — making reports more thorough, results faster, and the experience more intuitive.

What we're not

A Little Birdie is not a consumer reporting agency. We don't provide reports for employment screening, tenant evaluation, credit decisions, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Our reports are for personal awareness only — to help individuals make informed decisions in their personal lives. If you need a formal background check for hiring or housing, please use a licensed CRA.
